Shall we say April 28th or 29th?

It seem the men here have no problem with the dates, but the ladies need to get their heads out of the toilet bowels and make a decision, that's if, any woman can make a simple decision.

How about slightly before 28th April, cos my mum's coming over that day and I'll be spending most of it hanging about "Gothenburg City Airport" (hahahaha) waiting for her.

Don't know, Humpers. It's a busy week for me. I'm a working bloke ("working" as in "employed"; not necessarily "functioning").
28th is a Friday (ideal), 29th a Saturday (OK). Anything earlier becomes difficult. Have meeting on 27th and must attend.

Although...I could perhaps book the 28th as a holiday, in which case the evening of the 27th becomes a possibility.

Is the 27th in Gothenburg OK for enough people? If so, I'll do the necessary...

No probs for me, really; I could use a holiday, and I think most people where I work will take an unofficial half-day anyway, as the following Monday's a bank holiday here. When that's the case, most people bugger off at noon on the Friday.

Let's see what others say, shall we?

Conkers.
July 21-23 is "fallensdagar" (the waterfall days!) here in Trollhättan, which is cool. The only weekend this town comes alive![/quote]

I arrived in this town on fallensdagar last year and thought i'd come to heaven, how wrong i was proven, all downhill from then

Any of these proposed dates at the end of April are fine with me, as long as we settle officially a fortnight or so beforehand - you can guarantee i`ll be rostered to work if i just wait and see at the time.

As for Humpers` mother coming to Gøteborg, hahaha. In the tales I`ve heard she sounds a bloody legend who could drink us all under the table, so I propose we organise any meet up around when she IS here rather than not! biggrin.gif

Plus she might have "forgotten" to remove "something" from her pockets on the way across ... *casual and innocent whistle*

biggrin.gif She's already unable to go to the USA for that particular offence, I'm trying to discourage her from even thinking about doing it in Sweden.
