So far I have made :

Sponge and Custard.
Jam Tarts
Arctic role.

what do you remember eating as a kid ?

I remember getting rice pudding with what I think from very vague memories was raspberry syrup.
..and now I've moved to Sweden and it seems to be a main course.

A slice of ice cream cut from a bar, with hot butterscotch sauce

Rhubarb and apple crumble with custard, mmmmm, my gran had a big rhubarb bush/plant/thingy in the back garden.

Not Semolina, yuck, hated that.

My gran had some weird ideas about cooking, for instance she would make spag bog with Heinz beans, because it was tomato sauce, and of course bolognese sauce is has tomatoes in it.
I have not worked out if I miss it yet, as I got to eat it quite often being brought up by my grandparents.
