I’m sure native Swedes are still giving birth to their blonde hair blue eyed babies.

Do you have kids and are you a native Swede? If you aren’t native, or 100%, I hope people were as disappointed in your child as you seem of other non native babies.

And if you say it’s not another immigrant put down or xenophobic statement, then what the hell was the point of your post? So eager to turn something into hate about non natives. Pathetic

That’s a terrible headline on that article. “Baby boom”, no not at all. The fertility rate might be one of the highest in the EU but it has dropped considerably over the last few years and is at the same level as the year before. That’s not a boom.

And no, I’m not Mormon.

Case in point again. Go figure. Your irrelevant articles do nothing but show how stupid the Swedish government is.

Billy is right, if you look at a chart there is no upswing in birth rate in general.

So I guess there goes the attempt to say Muslims are creating another problem by having too many babies.

To the original post... when I visited Sweden I never thought there was an abundance of strollers. However, in America and Sweden, after I had kids I feel like I noticed a lot more. But the numbers show no large boom. I feel it was just my awareness changed. And maybe after reading an article on a high birth rate fertility rate in Sweden one might become more aware of kids.

Awareness is the key here, did you ever play the game of finding/seeing a certain make/model/year car on a long drive???

We used to find plenty that we would not find but for "awareness"...
