Hi everyone,
Does anyone have experience with commuting to Denmark for work while maintaining residence in Sweden as a non-EU citizen? I hold a Swedish residence permit and live with my partner in Malmö. Recently I've started looking for jobs, and have found that the number of job openings relevant to my profession are vastly larger in Copenhagen than in Skåne. Am I allowed to work in Denmark under my current status? If not, would it be easy/viable/possible to get a Danish work permit without actually planning to live in Denmark, if I managed to get a job offer by a Danish company? Any advice or stories from people in a similar situation would be much appreciated! |

No you cannot. If and when you get a job in Denmark, you can apply for a work permit there through the normal process and rules for any non-EU citizen.

Depends what kind of residence permit.
There are many people who make that malmo cph commute daily |
