I need to buy following capacitors for fixing a lcd monitor. If anyone knows places sell capacitor please help me to locate it, preferably butiks not online shops, I don't want to pay expensive shipping fee for cheap things like capacitors. thanks in advance.

the capacitors are: C261 (1000uf 25v) C263 (1000uf 25v) and C265 (470uf 25v)

the guy posted in the Gothenburg area, I doubt that he wants to travel to Solna or Stockholm...

You should still give a try to ebay uk or ebay Germany, I know its online but their postage fees are really cheap + electronic items are A LOT cheaper than here so all in all, you could still pay the same as you would here in a shop or perhaps even less...

They also have a shop in Gothenburg, at Krokslätts Fabriker.

Thanks people, I've found the all three caps from the elfa in goteborg, they sell very good caps(rubycon) for very cheap price. Billy what do you mean? These are low voltage caps, 1000 microfarad 25v.

Hello,

You can pick them up in Mouser. They post direct to your door.

http://se.mouser.com/

I had to order parts from there for my theremin and my LCD monitor from them as my monitor is out of warranty. Takes about 5 days to arrive after you order.

Andrea

It was an Eighties reference...for a capacitor...nothing to worry about.

Thanks Andrea, but I already got the caps and now I'd say the elfa is the right place for electric components. Billy, now got it.

An old 'joke' used by my strict old physics master back in the ´40's was:- "What times what equals Watt - boy?"
