Whether by luck or by judgment

I'd say their day to day guidelines are right, they are consistent and avoid yo yoing measures that confuse. Like many countries they initially failed to adequately protect care homes.

.Here in New York, 66 percent of those that meticulously followed lockdown rules and stayed inside their homes became infected!!!

I have seen this heading when googling about New York. And it makes little sense to me. The consensus of opinion seems to be that people actually didn't stay inside but went out to buy food, get exercise etc etc. However, even this wouldn't seem to account for such a high percentage.

Is there any change that air conditioning is a factor in New York?

New York was still a bit cool when the virus began A/C was not a factor...The only explanation was that the virus was brought to those staying in...Via???...for a while I was putting my mail in a microwave and washing my hands after touching it...luckily I have been spared

Swedens day to day strategy was on point this is very very clear. What I find intersting is how there was no increase when everyone came back from their foreign vacations in Sweden(I know many many people who have been abroad even though the advice was to stay local), but other countries are suffering with an increase after the summer...

Additionally in Sweden society feels calm compared with what is happening again in UK, France, Spain, Italy etc

Ten years from now all the statistics would have been studied and possibly a strategy to fight this virus will be identified...

Maybe the only person living on an island in the middle of nowhere will be awarded the prize for successfully coping with the virus...

As for the rest of us...???

You forget that the Swedish state told carers no PPE was necessary. Again, you simply prove my initial point.

Yonisan competes with SkoBo for "Cheerleader of Sweden" award. Funny how all of you simply gloss over 1000's of necessary deaths and prop up that supposition with utter bullshit.

Also funny how only Brits and refugees feel Meatball Land is a step up. Ya, pretty much anywhere is doing better than the UK right now. What a shock. If that's all you've got for reasons why Sweden is better than better, you are already a lost cause.

Just like Swedish media; absolutely feckless.

It must be scary and confusing to go through life with so many questions, and never being able to arrive at the answers using your own "cognitive" ability (yes, being quite generous here).

As they say, ignorance, is bliss.

Sad to be you.

I will say at this stage is, Sweden attitude to Corona was based on luck than anything else, also the scare porn peddled by major mainstream media did not impact how the Swedes handled the crisis, the key word was staying calm, besides Corona, other issues that it brought like depression, mental illness, unemployment, nobody seem to talk a lot about this, could not understand how you could lock down healthy people and not expect them to fall ill after the Quarantine period was over, at this stage, we still do not know a lot how and when this crisis will be over

Now this is the inept Sweden I remember:

https://www.thelocal.se/20200914/whats-goin...-close-contacts

1. Swedish health authorities left outdated advice for people who have come into close contact with coronavirus cases on their websites for over a month.

2. Asked how the outdated information came to remain on the website more than a month after the guidelines changed, he said: "We missed updating this page."

Yes, you tards, that's right, Sweden's Public Health Agency has fucked up, yet again. They "missed" updating their own page with new recommendations concerning covid, for more than 4 weeks.

And these new recommendations, which were left more or less pointless for more than 1 month, are a real about-face for the Meatballs.

The Public Health Agency's recommendations now state that people who have had close contact with someone who has tested positive for the coronavirus should take the following steps:

- Avoid close contacts with other people for 14 days
- Try to keep at least an arm's length distance from the sick person, if you share a household with them
-Work from home if possible
- Keep a close lookout for coronavirus symptoms (and stay at home if you experience any)

What? They aren't any longer recommending people cohabiting with a covid-19 positive person to go to work, or school, and continue life as usual?

Quarantine?

And those idiots who cannot perform their duties properly will likely, in true Swetard fashion, likely be given raises and promotions!

So c'mon SkoBo! C'mon yanison! Give us a "S"...you wankers!

Yes, very clear. And you seem to also confuse "calmness" with "inept non-action".

But otherwise, ya, you seem to really know what's going on in Meatballia.

Yep. The FHM explicitly told them that PPE was not necessary.

And then when the shit hit the fan, Tegnell and Carlsson blamed carers with immigrant backgrounds for not understanding recommendations correctly.

It's always somebody else's fault, it seems.
