After 6 months waiting I sent the request to close my case and I got back a rejection justifying that it could take more than four weeks because they need additional information.

On the same letter, but different paper, they requested information about the jobs I had in Sweden during the last 5 years, including contracts, payslips and KU. This is because I'm European and I have right to permanent residency as long as I fulfil some conditions (for example work in Sweden).

They updated the web today indicating that they got the documents, does anybody have any experience on being requested these documents? What should I expect now, will they also request my passport or just make a decision?

Rocky road. Look at the letter. You should get a officer. If you got a officer so you are gonna get as soon as possible. I Had same situation and got about 1 month.

Sent you a message not sure it went through.
So did they also said we need more information but not mentioning what information in your letter?
And yes there is a name on the top left of my letter which I suppose it's the case office?

how long does it take from the decision made date on the web application page until skatteverket database is updated? Anyone with recent experience?

The website for me is saying that the decision is made but there is no letter or anything that I got, the skatteverket is not updated either.

For me it took exactly a week to be updated. I actually got the certificate and passport back, after the skatteverket database was updated.

Does anyone know: is it possible to apply and include a note asking for the immediate return of the passport? Or applying and asking for the passport back literally a week later? (I know it takes them 3 weeks to return).

Would you imagine this affecting the processing time? Thing is I intend to apply soon but will travel abroad about a week after applying (and I would rather not wait to apply).

Thanks for any information

Arrived Sweden: 27 Feb 2014 with work permit
Applied for citizenship: 28 Feb 2019
Received positive decision: 20 May 2019
Nationality: Australian

My Employer contracts a relocation agency who did most of the paperwork for the work permits. I had been out of the country for more than 6 weeks in a year (most years actually) but never more than 6 weeks as a time.

first of all congratulation for getting your citizenship!
Just I have a quick question about 6 weeks rule, have you mentioned it in your application that you have been out of Sweden for more than 6 weeks/year or not?
