Has anyone seen this site? It was advertised in the AWC Round Robin.

www.mylifeinstockholm.com

Personally, I don't get what it's all about. It seems like she scans headlines here and writes about them on her website--which is rather pompus, if you ask me.

Any thoughts?

edited 'cause I can't spell.

Frankly I am sick of this woman.
She's so full of herself and people are getting tired of her.
In www.lostinsweden.com she declared that she called up the office of someone who disagreed with her postings on her blog. I mean...hello?

I recently started a blog. But its completely private, for me ~ and possibly for my family if I can keep it up.

I think it can be a good way to keep in touch. And I'm treating it as a journal, to try and work through some issues for myself.

But, I don't understand a blog like that mylifeinstockholm one. I mean, what's the point?

Well yeah, obviously. It's entirely one-sided and an excuse to bang on about your own opinions. I write mine for fun, if anyone else reads it and doesn't like it then stop reading it and get a life of your own.

Well, that's a deep question for a blustery day. Love? Generosity of spirit? Sharing of ideas? Enrichment? Success in various pursuits?

Kidneybean, so you think she's hoping to make money off it? Who would pay for it? Certainly not me...

Well if you read her advertisement for a graphic designer to work on the blog as a business concept you know her strategy. Banners, merchandise, advertising etc...

I think anyone with internet and half a brain plus access to discussion forums in Sweden can get alot of free useful information.

I don't trust anyone who calls up someone's employer because the person disagrees with her.

Weird and dangerous is my opinion.

I have nothing against blogs I love 'em. 8)
