Need help finding a job please

How do i find a job in the construction industry ?

Hey

I have just moved from Australia to gothenburg with my girlfreind due to family situations im in need of a job and have previous experience in plumbing electrical and labour work.

What would be the best way of finding a job in these catagories ?

Sorry was a typo i Have done electrical at ttafe for 2 years and was orking as a plumber for nearly 1 1/2 years .

There are plenty of plumbing jobs going but you do need a licence, the same goes for an electrician.

The only thing that i can recommend is going around the building sites in Gothenburg (they are building alot at the moment) and having a chat with the foreman there.

ps try the Eriksberg area
pps. if you are qualified then plumbing is the job as there is a lack of them and they often must use Germans with pidgeon English to work for them

If you can learn to speak Swedish in one week, you are truly a genius. Most people take 2 - 3 years to gain fluency.

I ran into the same problem and didn't have enough money to float the boat for two years while I learned to speak Swedish, so I got a job with a moving company. Didn't need to speak Swedish to lift boxes.

Im willing to work with anything need the money to learn ? how did you find that im in need at the moment willing to work with anything ?
