I think it really depends on how many applicants there are for certain courses! If an admissions office has to go through 700-800 applicants, qualifying the applications is going to take much longer than if there are only 50! Also, it depends if they take into account letters of motivation, thesis proposals etc. which obviously take time to read, or just grades. I wouldn't worry just yet! My second choice has almost 1000 applicants - I'm not expecting to get any status update from them until March!

Hello folks,

Today my application status changed in Qualified, but without MR. It stated the following

"You compete in the following selection groups:
Eligible without merit-based evaluation (ÖS)"

anyone with the same situation?

Hey guys, I happened to go through previous years' posts regarding this whole process and came across an encouraging comment for 2015 MS applicants from someone who applied in 2014.. took screenshots to share with you all as it might ease someone's concerns as much as it did mine, but for some reason it can't be attached..

Guys,

To say honestly, I went also through past years posts regarding to MR and SG's. So far, my impression is the following: we should ignore Merit Ratings, because our appli's are still in process, therefore everything is changeable. Hope for the best, let's see what happens in the following weeks! Good Luck everyone

180 is probably your ECTS credits, was your BA 3 years? That would explain the rating.
