Hello,

I would appreciate if someone would tell me what are the rules to write word "Jul" in Swedish language. When it comes in the middle of the sentence - do you write it with capital letter as Christmas in other languages?

You don't write it with capital letters.

Thank you, falneur! I was very sure that word Jul is always written in capital letter as a name of a holiday. I wanted to write: Försköna ditt hem före Jul !!!
Is there any exception?

Nope.
Demonyms aren't written in capital letters in Swedish either.

He is Swedish. - Han är svensk.

Ok, then I'd say:

Försköna ditt hem inför jul.

Or maybe even:

Försköna ditt hem innan jul.

In any way, the word "jul" isn't written with a capital "j".

On Christmas cards you write "God Jul och Gott Nytt År!"

But this is the only exception, otherwise just "jul" or "julen".
