The Local _ Visas _ Two decision pending applications

Posted by: ilikepotato 2.Aug.2017, 10:48 PM

Hello People,

If I have two decision pending applications, one due to change of employer and other due to marriage. Can I cancel the first decision pending application since I've already quit my job and left the country? And If I can’t, can the rejection of the first application conflict with the other one?

Thank you.

You can call migrationsverket and then send a mail to migrationsverket@migrationsket.se to cancel any of the two application. If you dont then when your case would be picked then they would ask you to choose one as you cant have 2 case opened.

Hi friends,
I have somehow same problem. I am married to a Swedish citizen and have a child also. I have completed my first two years, being at my home country (out of EU) for 10 months for job purposes and paid tax in Sweden, currently I have applied for extension of my RP and Swedish Citizenship. A day back i messaged to migrationsverket and they said i have taken a very wrong decision and i must be having permanent right of residence to apply for citizenship. Actually the law was somehow clear about me so i did applications. While i asked what can i do to solve this issue they have not replayed yet (messaging service on the application page). They just said that if my citizenship application will be checked by a case officer while having no visa that can result a very negative decision on my both cases.

Can someone help me in this regard? Is this logical that i contact and cancel my application for citizenship? Or is this possible.

Waiting to your kind reply.

Thanks,
James
