Brit seeking Swedish Lessons near Lidkoping

Based in Lidkoping but happy to travel for lessons

Hi all,

I've recently moved from the UK to Lidkoping with my Swedish husband.

Really keen to get a wriggle on with learning Swedish - can anyone recommend a Swedish teacher who could help?

I have a car so don't mind driving a bit further a field - Skara, Skovde etc would be fine.

My current attempts at Swedish are very basic and it's a tad embarrassing.

Stick an advert on blocket.se. You might even find someone who will teach you for free in exchange for improving their English. Let us know who it goes & good luck

Ps. Hopefully you also know about SFI? Free Swedish lessons from your local kommun, although you may find them slow (I'm 6 months in and still waiting)

Thank you for your help - will keep you posted. I am still waiting for residency so I can apply for SFI! My husband tells me I need Vasta Goteland for Immigrants to understand him! Helpful! Will keep you posted and thanks again! :-)!
