Great! at least people are getting decisions. It seems that the MV waiting time of 15-17 is reality, but of course not applicable for everyone.

Hello,
I think it all depends on how simple/complicated your case is. If you look at the waiting times on migationsverket.se, in case that migrationsverket needs an investigation on your application, the time is 15-17 months. I and my wife applied during 2nd week of May 2016 and got the citizenship in the end of May 2016. We both have been working just for 5 years in Sweden and came from India in 2011. Best of luck to all the applicants. Regards |

I don't really think this is the case. It seems that many of the "simple" cases are also taking 12 months and more, many people are married to Swedes and from the EU and they are waiting more than others. I am just having the assumption that it is easier for MV to have information about EU citizens more than any other applicants, and it is still taking long time for many of them. The difference in time is quite long, some get decisions in the same month of submitting their application, and some get it after 15 months! |

I made my application online on 29th June but did not send my documents by post yet.
Just one question, I should send my PUT card along with my other documents, right? |

My question for those who have received their decisions within months,
Have you been ever out of Sweden on vacation for more then 6 weeks During your residency period of 3 years or 5 years? |

Which other documents are you supposed to send apart from just your passport(s)? Have you forgotten that the same PUT card you have was issued by the same migrationsverket and they have it on their system? Do not complicate your case by sending what is not required of you. yes I don't think so. I made my application few days ago and it wasn't written anywhere that I should send my PUT card. I was only required to send my passports (previous and new one). I guess the document requirement is on case by case basis |
