Hello,

Its very easy for job seekers to find free jobs on almost every website. But nowhere its free to post jobs or look up for resumes. Employers often don't wish to spend money for posting a job if there is no guarantied qualified resumes as outcome.

Where can I find highly qualified resume with contact details in Sweden apart from LinkedIn? I have many position where I need people in Software and web development and other IT field with 10-15 years of experience?

Please let me know if you know of experienced professionals looking for jobs or any site where I can find resume for free to contact them and inform them of available jobs.

LinkedIn is the best way these days to find them.

In any case, if you want any results, you have to be much more specific (with regards to the expertise domain) than IT with 10+ years, that does not mean anything at all.

PDX,

I use LinkedIn on regular basis. We are into recruitment and I mentioned IT because even if I dont have a particular open job, we try placing the candidate within our network of clients by checking if they have any position within those skills. Mainly I recruit embedded software developers, System engineers, Mobile Software developers and Telecommunication engineers.

Can you suggest other way to find candidate apart from LinkedIn?

Sure, GitHub for example.

Do you have a web page where you list your open available positions?

Yes, on our company Page..
http://www.co-workertech.com/

Also, If I find a good candidate but don't have any job matching their skills, we act as job agent for them and help them searching jobs for free.

Job posting is neither free in GitHub nor there are so many jobs posted in Sweden. It's more US based website.

There are many SweNazis whining here about lack of jobs for "native Swedes" - this post is another example why we in Sweden need highly qualified, experienced and techno-savvy migrants to be brought in.

During July, only ~3000 work permits were granted to immigrants, whereas we need twice or thrice that to match the demand to keep Sweden on top of the tech business market!

You are really desperate to make your case, and will twist the any fact whatsoever. Right?

Do you know how you get people with 10-15 years of experience? You hired juniors 10-15 years ago. Corporations behaving like asses, refusing to hire new graduates does not in any way shape or form prove that there is a criticial shortage that can only be filled with migration of people from southern asia, in an age span where it chronologically impossible for them to satisify the stated demands is not the solution, it only proves that swedish corporations have been spoiled rotten. Had there been a "desperate shortage" corporations would start hiring juniors.

Also, if the bullshit that "only the best and most experienced" are migrating here for work, why are swedish employers so hesitant to scrap the current work migration system and replace it with the Eu Blue Card system? Is it the demand for at least a bachelors degree from a real recognized university or 5 years of relevant work experience? Or is it the minimum wage requirement of 150% of the average national wage? Neither of these requirements seem excessive for "cutting edge competency". In fact, I am wiling to scrap the educational and the experience requirement, just replace it with a minimum wage requirement of 250% of the national average wage.

In our company, thanks in part to my work over the last 2 years in acquiring and upselling projects, we have been able to hire 10 relatively junior Swedish and Finnish employees and are now looking to expand in Norway.

With Swedish Kroner sinking and pay levels here not high compared to US/Canada/UK/Germany, it is anyway a struggle to attract high-quality migrants to Sweden - we have not been able to even if we wanted to. Govt needs to do more to help us.

You didn't answer any of my questions, instead you just went into a self-aggrandizing rant. I will give such a superior mind as your own another chance to answer the questions.
"WHY ARE WAGES STAGNATING IF THERE IS SUCH A SHORTAGE?"
"WHY ARE ALL THE ADS ASKING FOR 2-5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IF THERE IS SUCH A SHORTAGE?"
"WHY DO SWEDISH COMPANIES REFUSE TO HIRE JUNIORS, IF THEY ARE IN SUCH A DIRE SHORTAGE?"
You come whining to the government, the government has increased the number of seats in IT education exponentially. What more do you want? That the government subsidize the wages you pay? What the government should really do is stop looking the other way at the outrageous claims made by the IT companies, a 27 year old with a 6 year university degree and 6 years of work experience, earning less than a fast food worker? Fuck off.

A country who has never won any academic contest ever, who has literacy rates in the same ranges as third world countries, who refuse to participate in PISA after coming in at place 74 of 76, still exporting world-class competency? Fuck off.

If supposed wonderfully gifted people with cutting edge tech savvy leave a country for foreign employment, isn't it because they could not be gainfully employed at home???

Yes, of course! India has too many people, too many educated engineers, doctors, nurses, programmers, lawyers etc and not enough jobs.

Our Govts and companies have just not been good enough to provide the kind of growth rate needed to employ the population - unlike China.

We must encourage migration out of India as much as possible, which also benefits Western countries like Sweden.

Just like 1000s of Swedes migrated to USA post-war.
