Hi I am wondering if anyone has any recent experience of a successful application to Skatteverket for a personnummer that they would be willing to share with me please. I need to urgently produce a medical insurance for them and with the Brexit deadline looming we daren't get it wrong. Is anyone able to recommend a policy they have recently submitted to Skatteverket and had accepted? If so were there any things you needed to add to the basic policy or were able to exclude? Any guidance on this would be very much appreciated smile.gif

Thank you for your quick reply. I have had a look at that but unfortunately I don't think that won't work for us. We have to prove that our healthcare will be paid for by the UK or private insurance and we won't be a burden on the Swedish healthcare system for the first 12 months we are here. It is to do with the type of application we have put in to them I think - self sufficient rather than employed as we haven't got jobs yet.

Really? That's interesting. They said we had to give them either an S1 - evidence UK will pay - or private insurance. Perhaps there is something we are missing here. I'll look into it again, thanks.

Thanks. If you come across it that would be great. I have noticed the rules for EU newcomers has tightened up over the past few years as we have been looking at making the move for some time now. Some of the criteria have become pretty much the same as Migrationsverkets requirements for non-EU applications!
