Hello jaavin 81,

I got the similar letter today. They will assign case officer within 6-8 weeks and the letter only sends to the appliers who applied in January 2016 and issued in Stockholm work permit unit.

According to the list of requested document I need send a few more documents before my case being issued so that my case can be complete.

Hello Anget,

Requested documents in my letter are the same as MIG posted on the website, see below:

§ A summary of your income statements from the Swedish Tax Agency for each of the years you have worked in Sweden, showing both your total income and who paid your salary and what other income sources you have

§ Pay slips for each month in 2016

§ A certified statement showing any absences from work, such as a notice of payment from Swedish National Insurance

§ A certified statement showing that you have been covered by medical insurance, occupational injury insurance, life insurance and pension insurance, during the entire time that you have held a work permit.

@Anget as Joanna mention this letter doesn't meant that any document was missing in our application. It was just reminder that these documents should be there in application and if all documents are complete then once case officer is assigned decision will be taken faster.
In my case I had attached all documents and more then they need.
May be its just new process to send letter since January and people who has applied since January.

Just to add, I called Migrationsverket and asked about how to send more documents. And they recommended to email at migrationsverket@migrationsverket.se with case number and personnummer and they will attach document to case.

Thanks jdavin81 and Joanna in Sweden!

And congrats camembert on getting your extension! I am in the same boat as you, applying for an extension and changing employers at the same time. So i was worried, it will be complicated. Knowing you got yours through makes me more secure in this! smile.gif What documents did you send through on your new employer?

Hi,

is there anyone who applied for Work Permit for the first time from non EU country? Do you know the waiting times?

I applied in March and I do not have case officer.

How are these applications processed? Is there some specific order or it is only by date of application?

This seems too long. Contact MV and ask if they need any additional information, etc.
