This debate goes on endlessly. One side claims that the world needs these immigrants and to not joyously accept them with welcoming arms and wallets is racist, hateful, xenophobic and a whole host of other bad things.

The other side asks why do we need them and why do I have to pay for them?

African warrior tribes sold their fellow blacks to Dutch slave traders who brought them in squalid slave ships to the American colonies...primarily to the south where they were put to use on large agricultural plantations owned by the wealthy. Only a small percentage of Americans owned slaves.

Why is it that when slavery is discussed NOBODY talks about the untold millions of white people that were slaves through out history and just as recently as the Second World War!!!
