At a time when Sweden needs more immigrants - the bureaucracy is unable to handle the workload of processing citizenshp applications.
This can negatively impact Sweden from being able to secure high-quality immigration that it desperately needs. When other nations are looking to improve their immigration process, Sweden should not fall behind the race - this is a process that needs fixing and expediting. There is no reason anybody who has lived and worked in Sweden for 4+ years with a clean record, should not be given citizenship immediately so that immigrants can fully integrate into the social and political processes of the country. https://www.thelocal.se/20190729/waiting-ti...tions-two-years |

You contradict yourself Sweden has sooooooo many immigrants wanting to be Swedes that it cannot process them quickly...Ergo more are NOT needed...

Where does Sweden need more migrants? Are you talking about the usual corporate BS propaganda about the "critical shortage of programmers"? If the shortage is so critical, then why are the requirments for a junior position sky-high and rising while the wages are stagnant of falling? |

I do not think that Sweden needs more Immigrants; what it needs is people that can contribute, and it seems to have these people in the pool of Swedes themselves; no immigrants are 'needed'.
Welcoming is a different story, but needing... No.. As one European to others if there is one thing we need less off and a more constructing way to handle that it is 3rd world immigrants. This is in no way racist or meant to be right wing rhetoric, but merely constructive. |
