then i'd suggest you try another supermarket...one that will let you wear your catsuit without all the gawking

i think TL is evolving as its readership grows. i don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

I see that Windycity is another agent provocateur of ?The Local? The paid help you get from Sweden these days are not what they used to be.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Can you explain please? I'm only a slow, lowly American so I need the extra help.

I am from the Southside of Chicago. Don't know if you are familiar, but it is on 'the wrong side of the tracks' as it were. But, it is a lovely combination of Irish, Polish, Italian, Mexican and African American peoples.

My 1st trip the Chicago was to Rockford Illinois in the early 80's, I have been back a few times and love it. I am trying to coax my partner to move there as it has a huge Swedish community BUT he is definately NOT a US fan!

That's too bad bc Chicago is a great town. I lived on the Northside for a few years close to the area I believe you are referring to, Andersonville - fun neighborhood and great Swedish bakeries!
If you ever do convince your partner to move there, feel free to reach out to me. I would be happy to provide advice, contacts, etc.
