I'm sure that there are posts around somewhere about removal companies somewhere, but frankly I can't be bothered searching, so...

I've got about a million and seventeen boxes and a bit of furniture to ship from Helsingborg to Stockholm, and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good CHEAP-ish company that can do it.

Anyone?

Thanks...

Hiya Humpers...No, my girlfriend left a couple of weeks ago, and all of her stuff is still here.

Don't worry; it was an amicable split. We're still good friends.

Now, now, Mike, that's NOT very civilised (but not a bad idea either).

I am trying to help. Take my advice and you'll save money and dignity. You know, dignity is hard to come by these days.

Sorry to hear that, but glad it's amicable.

Nice of you to arrange all this if it's her stuff you're moving...

I bought five bookcases to accommodate all her books, plus a huge chest of drawers for some of her clothes. The closet space was full of her clothes as well, as was the hall closet with all her coats/jackets. And I don't want to talk about shoes.

She's not working, and moved her whole life down here. We'll probably split the cost of transport. We found one company, and we reckon it'll be at least 7,000kr.

Just hoping to find somewhere a bit cheaper.

hi - can I suggest that you send it to a business address (if possible) of a kompis if you can as it will cut the cost significantly in comparison to declaring the contents "personal effects" - sometimes by up to 50%. As for companies... :?
