Send messages to new members

How long does it take a member to be in system

Just received a message from a new member and cannot reply because the name is not in the system???

Please advise.

That's weird. If you can receive messages you should be able to reply to them. Try logging out and then logging in again, and then see if you can reply to the message. Often that takes care of any weirdness.

New forum members that send unsolicited messages sometimes but not always are in my experience offering sexual services or introducing themselves as a former member of royalty of a third world country who claim to be requiring your assistance to move a sizable fortune in gold or currency if you only give over to them all your banking records, your house and in some situations your first born child.
