I wanted to inquire about the taxes on Bitcoin. I am not actively trading bitcoin but i just recently invested a small amount <5000 Sek and i am not planning on selling any time soon but i wanted to know how will i have to deal with the tax when i sell them?

You have to pay the normal capital gains % on any profit. Make sure to keep copies of your purchase transactions otherwise you will need to pay tax on the entire amount when the time comes. If you know any Swedish there are a ton of threads on the forum "flashback" dealing with this issue or use google translate.

There are s ETF on bitcoin that you can put on an ISK to pay less tax on capital gain.

Very interesting, thanks! I found these on Avanza: XBT (in SEK) and XBTE (in EUR).

(Not that I'm advising anyone to trade Bitcoin, but if you were going to, this seems like a great way to do it.)
