I currrently live in the Glasgow, Scotland. My boyfriend is swedish and lives in Gothenburg. I am pregnant now and I dont really know what chances are there for me any kind of employment, since I speak English and Spanish with equal fluency. I am studying nutrition, but I suspect that should be put on hold for a while. Id like to keep on studying but I dont know whether ill find a course in english, or how long will it take until I know enough Swedish.

Does anyone think Ill find work when I dont speak swedish? (I have 4 years experience in customer service in hotels and 4 years experience in reception at an accountancy firm).

Do you think it would be a better idea if Johan moved to the UK instead? (Hes an accountant).

Thanks very much for any ideas you might have. Happy new year!

Eva: Don't count on getting any job when you arrive. It's difficult to get a job even if you can speak swedish. When I first came; in August 2005. I asked around about the possibility of a job and someone told me: Odd jobs are difficult to get around here.
But I had been thinking of something less 'Odd'
