It certainly doesn't mirror the response that other religions gave to the New Zealand "incident"...you know, where somebody did something.

I'm guessing because it's just a building and no one died?

I cannot find anything on this event from the Islamic world...Can you??? Maybe no one asked their opinion? Why would they need to comment anyways? Notre Dame means nothing to more people than it means something to. It certainly doesn't mirror the response that other religions gave to the New Zealand "incident"...you know, where somebody did something. These events are in no way comparable. |

If the great mosque in Mecca burned down, I imagine the response from other religions around the world would be immediate and very large and donations would pour in from generous benefactors of all faiths.

Really? And what other religions have had an immediate and large response to Notre Dame burning? Which are donating? The Catholic Church has plenty of money to restore anyways. Suckered out of people as the “price of salvation”. Ha! A Jewish rabbi was quoted saying it was divine justice for the Catholic Church burning sacred Jewish documents in the past. There has been a lot of anti Muslim conspiracies, quite quickly, go figure, around Notre Dame and it seems like you want to buy into that... No reason to use the burning of this place to point some critical finger at Muslim people. That’s petty. |

I don't have a problem with the Muslim people other than their hate inspired religion who's chief profit was a sadist, a murderer and a pedophile.

Unsubstantiated rumour...rumour, rumour...And/or not false news yet...
The French government has uncovered a Muslin extremist plot to burn the Cathedral but will not admit it because of the violent Christian reaction it would foment... Anybody think this is possible??? |

I wouldn't worry about anti-Christian conspiracy theories in Paris, when the real thing is just happening in Sri Lanka.
Re Paris - no need to attribute to malice that which can be more easily explained by stupidity. Religion is like a sexual fetish. As long as no-one is being harmed without consent, then practice on your own, or with like-minded adults, and leave the rest of us - and especially any children - alone. |
