Hello smile.gif
I am applying for Chalmers University and University of Goteborg.
All the documents are already uploaded but i wonder about statistics. I know the page with the statistics, but it looks very weird to me. I would want to know the overal number of students applying and then see rejected/reserved/accepted . Does anyone know where to find that information? And if possible not in Swedish only?
In my home country technical courses are not so popular so it is usually very easy to get in. I suppose in Sweden it doesnt work that way..

Do you guys think that, if a programme has, like, 45 applicants, all of them could be admitted, or is that a big number?

Applied for three programs:

1. MSc Mathematics - University of Gothenburg
2. MSc Mathematics - KTH / Stockholm University dual program
3. MSc Mathematics - Uppsala University

All three say 'In Progress' so far. Not much competition for spots it seems in mathematics. I am one of only two people that has a Swedish personal number that has applied to Gothenburg University so far. We will see, best of luck to all!

It depends on the university that is offering the programme .. I have seen in past, my department cancelled some program when the number of applicants were less than 50.

Sweden is more technical than artistic or anything else. They highly prioritize physics, chems, mathmatics grades (or any technical subjects relevant to your majors) on overall gpa. I am an architectural student and I had correspondence with their admission officers. They have elobrated and helped me alot understanding the system. smile.gif
