The Local _ Miscellaneous _ What's so special about this forum, anyway?

Posted by: Miss Kitten 17.Jun.2009, 12:49 PM

I feel special.
Yes I do.
I feel special.
How about you?

Posted by: DidiE 17.Jun.2009, 12:50 PM

Hey, I said I was beautiful in every single way, words can't bring me down, but my post got cancelled. That means I am not special, and shouldn't even try.

Posted by: unkle strunkle 17.Jun.2009, 12:51 PM

wot we testin here?

Posted by: Miss Kitten 17.Jun.2009, 12:52 PM

I'm special (special!) So special. I gotta have some of your attention. Give it to me!

Posted by: DidiE 17.Jun.2009, 12:52 PM

Beauty. And Specialness. How do you rate?

Posted by: Markbase with an Invisible Q 17.Jun.2009, 12:55 PM

When I was a kid, walking down the street with my mum (formerly known as mom), I noticed some severely mentally disabled kids walking strangely and making weird mumbling sounds. When I asked bout them, mother said that they're "special".

So, Miss Kitten, do you walk strangely and make weird mumbling sounds? If so, I'm sure my mother would agree that you are indeed special.

Posted by: 7 17.Jun.2009, 12:55 PM

i'm clearly very unspecial

Posted by: Grandma Death 17.Jun.2009, 12:55 PM

I want you to notice when I'm not around. You're so fuckin' special. I wish I was special...

Posted by: Miss Kitten 17.Jun.2009, 12:58 PM

Oh, Special Ed.
His mamma dropped him on his head.
Now he thinks he's a piece of bread.
He's just a little bit special.

Now come on folks be serious.

We all know there can be only one big "Special One"...Jose Morinho!

Not to forget the little special one,...his little elusive Yorkie terrier.

The Specialist is a top 5 worst ever film. Worst shower sex scene imaginable.

I'd rather watch D.A.R.Y.L

Posted by: DidiE 23.Jun.2009, 09:40 AM

Was that the one with Jason Statham? If so, I would rather watch a very special episode of the original 90210, where they deal with a delicate problem in a special way, with counselors standing by to take my call in case I can't handle the brutal reality of today's youth's special problems.

One must understand the special meaning of the word special in special context so as to appreciate the speciality of the word special in this specially sunny göteborg weather as it is very special not to rain on sunny day in special city.

By virtue of this special thing, I do think and feel I am special and I deserve a special food or at least some sort of special beverage with Special team göteborg elite piss outers.

Bukkake: A special racial facial.

Because I am now posting again upon it - though not because I'm me but because I spend most of my waking day, trying to find out what is going on, and communicating it to others.

The world needs now, more than ever, communicators like me.

And very glad folk will be too. Your timing is wonderful.

I feel special too.

You see I used to be conceited and now I'm perfect! mellow.gif

Gosh "Is this a sample of the good old days/posters?" Yes, this nearly brings tears to my eyes, the old names, the intelligent banter instead of wall to wall klubbnika and posters who degrade a once interesting forum to a chat room.

Posted by: chazza 3.Mar.2012, 11:20 AM

Yes, it was a kinder, gentler era then. not the mean and nasty thing it has become sad.gif

Posted by: Svensksmith 3.Mar.2012, 01:05 PM

Well, I sure don't know about you
But this morning I had something important to do
So I went to the loo and had a big poo
Now I feel special, too.

Is it better now , with no one on it ?

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I am glad you dug this up, shows a very different mentality that we see today.
It was more a community then rather than the circus we see now. This community was very much engaged with each other and even met up.
"Anyone for drinks on Friday" was very common. What has happened to these guys, have they left Sweden, have they gone to another forum or had they got sick of what this forum was (has turned) turning into.

I am not the first to say anything about how this forum has deteriorated, I quote Rick Methven from 2014

"Once upon a time I used to log on to TL in anticipation of some lively discussion and banter with other posters.
Lately it has become so boring that all it does is send me to sleep, especially Trows rants.

Where o where have the old gang gone?"

I got this from another thread you dug up Savage.

Even Ricks gone.

I do think visa / studying questions, politics and immigration has played a big part in the change as well.

What’s it matter, you don’t even live here.

I have lived in Sweden for almost 35 years.
