I am trying to locate any IAL/SCI volunteers that went to India 1969 -1975. Particularly Nangloi Village.
Or anyone who knows anyone who volunteered to work in India during that time, or Solvig Starborg RN, Jan Simon, Lena Holmstedt. Thank you .
Respectfully,
Tom Carlisle t.w.carlisle@comcast.net

Have you thought about starting a facebook page - or taking out a small ad in a national newspaper? - it might give you a larger number of people so widen your search

There are several anna holmstedts on facebook as well - although most seem too young

Have you checked out SCI wiki page?

Thanks Puffin I appreciate your input. I have Called several Lena Holmsteads without any luck so far and There are 5 or so on face book. I am on facebook but it must be for the younger generation I don't have a lot of "savvy" there. I don't quite get how I would start a facebook page devoted to my search. I am interested to note that everyone I have called has been very gracious, and well wishing. I frankly don't think I would get that kind of response over here. I have checked out both IAL and SCI sites and archives and written to the present president who als cordial does not at the moment have access to records that old. I am pretty sure that Jan Simon was the Swede I worked with at Nangloi. The person who introduced me to Lena. Also in the SCI archives there is a testimonial by one Solvg Starborg RN who knew a Jan Simon who had been to India. But so far I've not been able to locate him. As you mentioned before any of these people may have died and certainly Lena Has probably changed her name.
Respectfully,

Go to www.ratsit.se

Click on Sök Person and use the names you are looking for as
Förnamn: First name
Efternamn: Last name.

I gave a quick search and it gives a list for Lena.

http://www.upplysning.se/ Can be used to find address of the people you find in above search. Long shot but might work.
Alos use www.hitta.se to see if it shows any tele numbers for those people.
