I'm looking to move to Luleå, and would like to be able to study at the University. Would I be eligible to apply for a student loan or would I have to arrange all of that over here in the UK beforehand? If so, how would I go about applying for one?

No student loans for foreign citizens. There are some rules that allow them to get but long story short: if you haven't been here two years before applying for university, forget it.

Yes - I'm afraid that you cannot move her and get eligibility for student grants and loans straight away unless there are special cicumstances - for example if you have been married to a Swedish citizen for many years

If you are moving to Sweden with the sole intention of studying then you will need to have the finance already organised for your living expenses - however as an EU citizen you will be entitled to free tuition
