Brilliant band. I must admit i liked Magazine alot more

Posted by: crghsam 18.Jul.2017, 08:43 PM

Magazine only lasted about 5 minutes didn't they? I think they only did one album

I saw the Buzzcocks in 1979 - the first gig I ever went to. And Bauhaus a couple of years later at the same venue.

I'd have loved to have seen the Pistols (at the time, anyway). Would still love to have seen Bowie in the Ziggy years, and the Who with Keith Moon, and the Stones back in the day also.

I'm going to see the Stones when they are in Stockholm later this year. I suspect it will be a huge disappointment.

Saw them last time around at Tele2 Arena, was close to the front ... I also expected a half-arsed, we are too old for this, want money for our families, kind of performance ... Oh Boy, Was I wrong! They were absolutely fantastic smile.gif

Fingers crossed then!

As a scientist, I would really like a sample of Keith Richards liver, just to see what makes it survive...

Ive seen Bauhaus a few times at The Bat Cave, i think, too many chemicals in those days. Ziggy time and T-Rex amazing. The Stones should retire now and The Pistols in the beginning would have been great but not now. Moon, i would loved to have seen for the raw power.

You have good taste

The Buzzcocks in their heyday would have been brilliant but i was way too young

Go out and buy a bag charcoal briquettes for grilling...they have the exact same chemical analysis.

After the big bust, it's the "Retro" people that will lead us back, because they know how to do things without artificial aids...

It's called hands on work...

I saw an advertisement for auto insurance about a teenage boy with a flat tire, who needed road service to change the tire!!!

I just shook my head and changed channels...

In my day if you drove an automatic transmission car you were not the kind of guy we would want to hang out with!!!

Retro rocks!!!

The music business has really changed with the availability of so much free music. Still lots of good talent out there but for many of them, it is a part time gig.
