4th Anniversary Special - Comedy Night in English

There is a special Anniversary show of Gothenburg English Comedy Night at the Casino on Wed, Apr 11. Here are the details from the producer.

For this special show we're bringing in non other than headliner Stephen Carlin (Scotland) - recently named by Stewart Lee as "one of the top ten comedians in the world ever." Other main act is Javier Jarquin (NZ) who is fresh off of his sold out run at Edinburgh Festival and tour in New Zealand.


(2 tickets to the comedy is a great idea for an Easter gift!)

Wed, Apr 11, Show: 20.00 (Show ends approx. 22.00).

Where: Casino Cosmpol, Packhusplatsen 7, Gothenburg. (room adjacent to sports bar area)

Advance tickets: 135kr. Buy advance via:

Buy advance tickets latest noon of show date. There are approx. 20 drop-in tickets at 175kr available on show date from 18.30 onwards at reception.

Entry to casino gaming area after the show is included in tickets.

Guests who want to eat before the show should arrive latest 18.45. Dinner ordering is possible until 19:00.

Guests not eating should arrive by 19.15 to avoid any longer line closer to showtime.

Stephen Carlin (Scotland) is a stand-up comedian and author, now living in London. He was recently named by Stewart Lee as one of the top ten comedians in the world ever. He has appeared on television and radio, including shows such as ITV2's Comedy Cut and Milk Run on BBC Radio 1. He was recently supporting Stewart Lee on his 90's Comedian tour and Tom Stade on his Totally Rocks tour.

Javier Jarquin (NZ) delights audiences with well-crafted jokes and very likeable stage persona. After winning the ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ competition in Christchurch, NZ, he appeared on a host of television shows, and was a core member of New Zealand’s longest running comedy show: Scared Scriptless. He also took his debut solo stand up show ‘Joke Ninja’ to the Edinburgh Fringe to sell-out rooms. “An entertaining comedy show with plenty of laughs,” – Edinburgh Spotlight
