So the temperature seems to be the last of the issues! smile.gif) I can only wish that the housing market and employment opportunities were improving at the same rate biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

As Cheeseroller said, up north...its a different story.

Real summer wont start until probably May/June, if lucky! And will last only a few weeks.

And winter. The darkness in Sweden,best to see threads.

I've been in Umea for 10 months now, and I love it. Yes, the winter was hard - because it's so dark you don't have much energy. It's an excellent place for kids to grow up: the schools seem to be really fun and there are things for kids everywhere. Compared to other European countries, kids really are part of the society here. But, it's almost impossible to have a job unless you speak Swedish.
