Having clear skin not only gives us confidence in our day to day lives but it gives us the self confidence to be out going and approach any situation. Acne however can impede this, with acne being attributed to low self esteem and low confidence in one's self. Acne does not only affect adolescents but also many adults. So what can one do in the pursuit of clear skin you may ask? Well there are many myths and misconceptions relating to how to get clear skin by some beauty arrangementen. So let's address these.

The most common misconception attributed to how to get clear skin is that consuming junk food will cause acne. Although this misconception does have some merit, poor choices in ones diet is only part of the reason behind the appearance of acne. Acne is mainly derived from fluctuations in hormone levels. These fluctuations cause oil to be excreted through the paws of the skin resulting in acne.

Diet however does affect acne to some degree, with food high in fat and sugar providing the body ingredients to produce this oil. However, a well balanced diet with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables will assist with your skin's acne condition and general health. Most health experts also agree that fatty and oily foods should be avoided.

In addition to a healthy diet, skin supporting vitamin and mineral capsules can be taken to supplement our diet. Another way in how to get clear skin is increasing the daily intake of water. Eight glasses of water should be consumed on a daily basis. Fluid assists your kidneys and cells, flush unwanted chemicals out of your system, therefore ridding the body of nasty toxins that result in unwanted acne.

Exposing the acne affected area to sun light as a course of treatment is another common misconception. Some people believe in exposing the acne affected area of the skin to sunlight, with the belief that by doing so the affected area will become clear of acne. Whilst you may notice a small improvement in your acne after sun exposure, this is usually just short term. Exposure to the sun causes damage to your skin and as your skin begins the healing process more breakouts can occur. Sun exposure can also cause irreversible damage to skin cells.

Another misconception in the pursuit of how to get clear skin is whether to squeeze, pop or pull the head out of the pimple in order to clear the affected area quicker. The fact of the matter is most dermatologists recommend against squeezing of pimples. The reason for this is that scarring and worsening of the acne is always possible. However, if you are going to touch the affected area ensure that not only your fingers are clean and hygienic but also the affected area, by using a disinfectant. This will ensure that the oil excreted from the affected area is not spread to other unaffected pores.

Severe acne can quickly be treated with antibiotics. Book a time with a specialist skin doctor, not these horrid high-street people, and get the doctor to check out the acne, often the cause of severe acne is an underlying infection that responds to specific antibiotics the doctor can prescribe. They are far more effective than the useless substances sold without prescription in the pharmacy. Note however, that in certain areas of sweden the waiting time for such a specialist can be quite long as they already have full patient rosters.

Mate,
this topic and its replies are all spam.
Its what spammers often do to try and evade spam security, they register an account and make a useless reply to an old thread to get a post count so they hope they can come back later as a verified user (some forums have certain security). Or to bump a past spam into the front.

But what was the value of your reply?
You dismiss a spam advert, and then tell people that the so called better alternative is usually fully booked up?
