Hello hello!!!
I am a Canadian living in a small town beside Lidköping.
I have moved here two years ago to be with my fiance who is swedish.
I have/still having good experiences living here in Sweden.
Not everything is easy... finding a job ect but here I have been enrolled in with unemployment
and have took courses to learn swedish so it has been much easier.
It is true that it is harder to get a job here in the smaller cities unless you have education as a doctor, teacher, nursing and a few others.
Anyways if you read this post and would like to chat more please feel free sending me your email. maybe we can chat and I can try and answer any questions you have... and hey if you move here maybe we can even hang out.

Hej all!

Thanks for the responses- I've been settling in well so far. The language and meeting friends is a struggle, but i'm getting there. Only been here for 2 months so far. Hopefully it gets easier as time passes. Anyways, if there are any other expats out there in our around Lidköping please do send me a message!

Take care!
