The Local _ Swedish news _ Goverment to ban unsuitable dog owners

Posted by: Yendor 19.Mar.2007, 11:24 AM

First of all to own a "fighting dog" you should be tested on your mental health! Why? While i was taking a sunday walk around Delsjön(lake) in Göteborg about five years ago a man with a big pit-bull dog without a leash came towards me from a distance. Suddenly the dog came running towards me but i thought the dog saw something behind me and was just going to run past me. I guessed wrong! The dog first attacked my left leg, i fell to the ground and then it bit my left arm. I was able to stand up again calling for the dog owner to call off his dog. He called his dog once which did nothing! I then made the decision to kill the dog (military training) which i did. Then the man came running at me in anger because i killed his dog. I told him to stop but was forced to knock-him-out. I called the police and they arrested the man and made a report.

wow yendor, i'm glad you came out of that ok. remind me to not "go at ye"

i think your story confirms that the owners are the problem and not the various breeds which are often clumped together as "fighting dogs."

the various stafforshire terriers are really sweet dogs. it's just too bad for them that bad people think they're living weapons and train them to be.

Yendor aka Francis Begbie.

I also would have no hesitation in trying to severely injure or kill any mutt that is trying to rip off my arm, despite having no military training whatsoever and being a dog lover to the ... bone.

The dogs are not the problem. The OWNERS of the dogs are the problem. Sadly i was forced to break the dogs neck. And i told the police that because the dog owner could not control his dog that the dog ended-up dead and that is the responsability of the dog owner.

How are they going to deem people inappropriate?

''Finally, any owners deemed inappropriate are to be barred from owning dogs in the future.''

Anyone with a criminal record?

Tell me more about how you don´t allow cats onto your property but if they do so you break their two front legs and staple a warning note to their paw.

You editing fiend.

The dogs are the problem.
The owners are the problem.

Posted by: Benzed 19.Mar.2007, 12:08 PM

The strong jaws, second only to the hyena in terms of land walking animals are the true problem. If their teeth were the size of a seahorse´ choppers there would be no threat.

Posted by: Yendor 19.Mar.2007, 12:11 PM

I have no problem with cats but i dont allow them around my house. To keep them away i spray them with the water hose.

Posted by: 7 19.Mar.2007, 12:12 PM

did they teach you that in the military?

Posted by: Benzed 19.Mar.2007, 12:12 PM

I think it's a great idea. Unsuitable people should not be allowed to have pets. The definition of unsuitable should include anyone who lets their dog crap in public areas and doesn't clean it up. In fact, this should be punishable by a day in the stocks.

First killing a large pitbull, then knocking the owners lights out, now thats what I call flip flopping.

Just like alcohol is not a problem, has never been and will never be. Its PEOPLE that have no control over their alcohol that is the problem. Crack down and slam people not alcohol!!

Which owners are the problem?

Crack and alcohol, now there´s a combination that will put feisty hounds and militarily soaked felines into the shade.

This is my rifle, this is my gun.
This is for fighting, this is for fun.

But again, you could compare this to Archway or any part of London and by comparison these three to five Swedish turds are hamless. And in LOndon the only nutjobs are the ones who DO pick up the sidewalk shit ... !

Posted by: VikingHumpingWitch 19.Mar.2007, 12:27 PM

Granted Frölunda has not achived the Parisian greatness of Archway in the medium of dog poo, but nevertheless I expect more of a country famed for its cleanliness and general sense of responsibility. I have encountered more turds in three weeks here than I did in a year living amongst the 414 gang.

There's no need for anyone to have dogs when they could have cats instead.

cats dump everywhere also they just tend to burry it

i don't like the cats going in the sandboxes that kids play in or around, i got a cat dumping in my flower bed right outside my front door, dammit

another thing i see a few times that doesn't make sense is someone half a$$ picks up the dog excrement with a bag then they leave the bag on the ground, they have just taken the poop from existing only a month or so to being preserved for uh 10,000 years after the plastic finally disintigrates

Posted by: Streja 19.Mar.2007, 01:02 PM

Elvis be happy that you get free manure! Pfff!

Posted by: B.b 19.Mar.2007, 01:11 PM

i agree its the owners responsability but sometimes it could be that the dog has some issues..its still the owners responsability...my dog has separation ansiety he hates to be alone he destroys my favorite things like my favorite boots he is smart enough to know what i like the most...in the other hand it is soooo jobbit to have to be watching over him all the time when we have guest he has to be with a mouth piece...or in his pet taxi he dosent like anyone but just family... when there is a new member in the family it takes so long before he learns to trust and accept them...hes never unleech unless we are on the country completely alone...

Some animals, including some breeds of dog, should not be kept as pets. I suppose you could try and blame the animal, but the animal did not choose to become the person's pet. Therefore, I blame the owner. It is the owner who chose to keep a dangerous animal as a pet.

*lol* Dude, you rock !

But how did you kill the dog exactly ? If a dog attacked me, I would aim for his nose with anything I have available.

Plug in where? No wonder he gets tetchy, leave a lad´s arse alone for gawd´s sake.

Pills also are more likely to see him strap on raver glasses and raid your collection of tinpot house music than "calm him down".

Think on.

Posted by: B.b 19.Mar.2007, 03:47 PM

plug on the wall some kind of room deodorizer ...to calm him down...we stoped those pills also because they did not helped at all...we tried enya and left the music on but when we come home it looks like he had a trashing party
