I am moving from Sweden to the UK in late October and was wondering if anyone has recommendations on how to move a 1 bedroom apartment from here to there. I don't know the options, and my budget is somewhat limited (preferably less than 50.000 SEK). I am in Northern Sweden if that affects the costs of the move. Any help would be super appreciated!

Consider putting it on pallets yourself, then find the cheapest service through https://www.fraktjakt.se/

When we moved to Germany, we hired a guy with a 7.5T truck. Cost 2000€ plus tolls and hotel. So total sub 2500€. However, we had to load and unload ourselves. Moving companies wanted 8000€ plus for the amount of stuff we had

Not being funny but if it is just a 7.5T truck why not hire the truck and drive it yourself, that's what I did when I moved from the UK to Sweden and then when I moved cities in Sweden.

I admit it is boring as hell driving those things because of the speed restriction but cheaper.
