Hi

Maybe not the best topic to discuss here but a friend wants to know how things will go if she passed away in sweden

She has no family members in Sweden, but some in the UK and other non-european countries. What will happen with her properties and money?

Can her family claim everything? She wants everything to go to children organizations and cancer patients etc.

What is the responsible authority here in Sweden for such things?

What is she supposed to do and can she finish everything without needing any witness?

Thanks

This is a legal question. It requires a "lawyer", and is not appropriate for this local yocal forum.

There are sites online where one can prepare a will whether or not is will be valid in Sweden is, as Gjeebes says, a legal matter beyond the scope of this forum.

If it's so easy to google it and find the answer, why don't you do it and post that, instead of your ridiculous response?

People need to speak up on this forum and confront the idiots who want to jump into every topic and either say "it's been discussed before" or "Google it". The forum is for people to ask questions and get answers. The people who have been here too long and think they've seen every question before and want to complain that no one should be asking questions should do the rest of us a favour and F off.

I have family in Sweden, and this is all I could come up with, even with their help.

Hitting the crack pipe yet again, eh you old crackah?
