How much money is required to move to Sweden?
To buy an apartment and find a job?

How much money did you have when you moved here?

Can you move here without a lot of money?

Thanks but that website is for British people.

It also doesn’t specify an exact amount.

Just budget for 25kr / day for how ever long you plan to be here. That's about £2.50 now, or after March £250.

That all depends upon your needs. However, I will tell you that living in Sweden is expensive and it is very hard to find a job unless you have some high level and in-demand skills.

So bring a lot of cash.

I see there is a shortage of teachers in Sweden.

Is this considered a high level in demand skill?

How much money is 'a lot of cash' do you think? Give me a figure.

Do you speak Swedish and have the proper credentials to teach in Sweden? If so, you could probably get a job as a teacher. If not, it will take you about 2 - 3 years to learn the language and perhaps more to get certified to teach.

So bring enough money to support yourself for 3 or more years.

I'm sure he/she/it is but anyone considering a move to Sweden needs to know that you need to be well heeled before attempting the move. Unless, of course, you are a refugee and you get the taxpayers to support you.
