Hello everyone,
I have been working in a software company in gothenburg from 2016 and and my company is about to apply my permanent residency ( visa extension for the second time). The problem is my job was not posted in arbetsförmedlingen. It was posted only on linkedin. I am afraid that my application might be rejected. Is there any way we could fix this issue before my employer starts the application process? Does any one faced similar situation in the past? Please share your experiences. |

Unless you changed your job it is not necessary to advertise a vacancy.

Unless you changed your job it is not necessary to advertise a vacancy. It was my first job after masters. But it was not posted in arbetsförmedlingen and i didn’t know the rule that all jobs should be posted there before offering to non EU citizens. I didn’t change any job from past four years. But I recently heard a lot applications were rejected as they were posted in linked in but not in arbetsförmedlingen. |

If your job was not properly advertised but you were still granted a permit, then the Migration agency can not reject a later application only for this reason:

Hello everyone,. I have been working in a software company in gothenburg from 2016 and and my company is about to apply my permanent residency ( visa extension for the second time). I thought the second extension "cannot" be applied for by the employer, the individual needs to do it, and if you meet the conditions, you will be granted the PR. |

No, its always employer who initiates the application.
