Woman dies from mushroom poisoning

A 50-year-old woman in the care of Sahlgrenska Hospital in Gothenburg for mushroom poisoning died on Sunday morning. The woman is thought to have eaten a death cap mushroom which contains the poison amatoxin.

Wedding guest hit by exploding cannon

A cannon salute was fired in honour of the happy couple at a reception near Stockholm on Saturday. A guest was left in no mood to celebrate however as the cannon exploded and left her with a broken leg and burns.
