Man arrested over woman's disappearance
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering 31-year-old Marina Johansson, who has been missing from her home near Gothenburg since the end of July.
Police have not revealed the basis for their suspicions, nor have they said why they believe Johansson has been murdered.
Johansson disappeared on 27th or 28th July from her home near Stenungsund, about 50 kilometres north of Gothenburg. Her car, a silver Hyundai Tucson, was found on Thursday at a station car park in Stora Höga, a short distance from her home.
“We are obviously hoping for tip-offs from the public,” said police on Wednesday when they revealed that they suspected she had been murdered.
