Sure creating a register sounds great if you are considering the burden of the health care system on performing abortions, especially to women who are having multiple numbers of abortions, abortions based on sex of child etc etc. If this register could aid the reduction of unnecessary abortions then I am all for it.
However, if the register in ANY WAY could be used to identify and harass a woman or a couple just for having an abortion then I think the register is not worth it.
If the government wishes to create this list to benefit the tax payer then go ahead, if the government wants to push their morals, or allow other institutions to push their morals upon its citizens then it is time for a new government system in my opinion.
Second we should ask ourselves it is proper to hide the name of murderars who cant take what comes out of their pleasure?
They murder the infants who can not defend themselves. for just two minutes of your lust and pleasure you commit murder. it is major sin and cant be forgiven by God.
try to have use at least condom if you want to have sex :) but dont murder!
and let the future husbands of these women know that they have murdered a infant who couldnt talk or defend himself.
Kind Man, women have abortions for various reasons, for example, Rape& Incest Rape
This idea has obviously come from someone with an extreme religeous agenda.
This idea will lead to women getting backstreet abortions or travelling abroad to get abortions, if implemented.
This idea is a retrograde step for Swedish society.
Another poster has suggested a "stupidity register" for people who think of such ideas. I agree. Anyone on a stupidity register should be removed from any employment where they are in a position of control or responsibility and sent toa psychaitrist everytime they have an opinion.
Sweden used to be a powerful kingdom once, based on the ideals of Inquisition and the spread of the Catholic faith. Granted, it was never as resolute as the more powerful Spain and France, but nonetheless Swedes did their part in exterminating heretics and converting heathens.
Now modern Sweden is a melting pot of religous tolerance - and even worse, a heretic state that follows the teachings of Luther and his evils. We need to rebuild Sweden into a proper Catholic state and sweep aside all this heresy in a single fell swoop.
