Electricity prices "lowest in years"

Despite the fact that it is the middle of winter, DI reports that the market price for electricity is the lowest it has been in a while.

During a week at the start of the year the average daily price at the electricity stock market Nord Pool fell to less than 20 öre per Kwh, which is the lowest since summer 2002. The reason is the healthy levels of water in storage reservoirs in the Nordic electricity system.

Swedish children get 4 billion crowns pocket money

A survey conducted by Nordea reveals that Swedish parents hand out 4 billion crowns a year in pocket money to their children. The average amount given to a 10-year-old per month is 130 crowns.
