AMS head requests extra funds
Anders L Johansson, head of the Labour Market Board (Arbetsmarknadsstyrelsen, AMS) is to request an extra 2 billion kronor from the government in the spring budget.
Johansson says that the Board requires the additional funding in order to train people so that they have the right skills for the vacant jobs.
Investor strengthens its hold
According to SvD sources, Marcus Wallenberg, MD of Investor, and Caroline Sundewall, Telia Sonera board member, are poised to take seats on the Electrolux board. Thomas Halvorsen, MD of the 4th AP Fund, is to quit the Electrolux board after ten years.
The move comes as Electrolux is set to transfer production from 12 of its plants in western Europe to eastern Europe, the Baltic region and China.
