Volvo PV to cut 1470 jobs
Volvo Personvagnar is to cut its workforce by 1,470 people. The union negotiations, which have now concluded, mean that 720 staff in Sweden will be made redundant, according to a press release from Volvo PV.
As well as the permanent workers, 300 consultants will go from the company.
A further 450 jobs will be lost abroad, primarily in Belgium.
