A massive police operation has begun with helicopters and around 25 police units joining the hunt.

Police were alerted to the robbery at 10.33am. One man was spotted leaving the scene in a BMW which is now being hunted by police.

According to the first details about the incident, a man in a car stopped the vehicle and forced his way to the cash. It is unclear how much he accessed.

The man was armed but reports of his weapon vary.

"An axe has been mentioned," said police spokesman Michael Johansson to TT.

The robbery comes on the same day as Huddinge district court is due to deliver its verdict in the case of the previous raid in Hallunda on August 29th 2005.

Three men have been prosecuted for armed robbery and the prosecutor has called for jail terms of eight years. Another man is facing sentencing for being an accomplice to robbery while a fifth has been tried for money laundering.
