"With this positive message from the Finanschefsindex, there is good reason to be optimistic for the economic outlook," said Robert Bergqvist, SEB spokesman.

SEB's Finanschefsindex is compiled from a poll of 50 finance heads of Sweden's largest companies and took place May 9-12.

The purpose of the index is to measure the changing climate in the financial environment. Financial chiefs are strategically positioned in multinational companies, said SEB, to sense global trends.
