14 Swedes – ten adults and four children – and eight Danes who were onboard were injured and taken to hospital in Hurghada, according to Fritidsresor.
“The majority just had light cuts and scratches, but many are naturally shocked. We have sent a psychologist down to help them,” said Eva Olivecrona in Fritidsresor’s press office to TT.
Later on Saturday it was still not clear what caused the accident but Egyptian police have begun an investigation.
All of those involved have been in contact with their relatives in Sweden, Fritidsresor said.
