Bobby parents 'should get life in jail'

The mother and stepfather convicted of causing the death of ten-year old boy Bobby should have their sentences increased, prosecutors argued on Wednesday.
The couple, who have since broken up, were convicted of manslaughte in Eksjö district court and sentenced to ten years imprisonment.
Prosecutors are appealing that ruling at the Göta Court of Appeal in Gothenburg, saying that the pair should be convicted of murder and be sentenced to life imprisonment.
"If the appeal court confirms the district court's ruling and finds them guilty of manslaughter, my position is that their sentences should be increased to twelve years imprisonment," said prosecutor Erik Handmark.
"There is the possibility for a sentence of 14 years, but this is maybe unlikely," he said.
