Patient stabs Gothenburg nurse with needle

A man who was being treated in an emergency ward at a Gothenburg hospital on Saturday night stabbed a nurse with an injection needle.
The man was overpowered by a porter at Östra hospital. Police arrived at the scene quickly and arrested the man.
Doctors said that the man, aged around 45, was in need of psychiatric care, reported the local media. It is still unclear why he went to the hospital.
The nurse was 'a few years younger' than the man.
"She was stabbed twice in the neck with the needle," said Gösta Alling, a spokesman at Kortedala police.
On Sunday afternoon the hospital said that the nurse was out of danger but shocked.
